What are stretched or stretched and mounted prints?
These are prints in which the back of the canvas is tightly stretched over a 40mm deep wooden framework. This is traditional and recommended method for displaying paintings on canvas.
The canvas:
We use highly textured acid free, matt finish, artist stretch canvas designed for long term, fade resistant fine art reproductions. The cotton canvas has a specifically designed coating which delivers superior color 
gamut and resolution.
The stretch frame:
The frame is made of pine and is 40mm deep. We can do other thicknesses if required. For canvas, stretching and mounting is a great option due to increased durability and artistic appeal. Artwork can then be displayed on a wall without the necessity of a frame.
